visit resourceBaby Sleep Information Source

This site has a wealth of information on why babies sleep the way they do, the requirement of their sleep patterns on brain development, SIDS and safe sleep for babies, parental tiredness, etc.

LactMed
Online databases for medications and other chemicals and their potential impact breastfeeding. Provides scientific summaries of the most current, evidence-based information on a wide variety of medications. Keep in mind: there are very few medications that are deemed unsafe during breastfeeding; many of the medications on this list will note unknown effects during breastfeeding, mainly due to a lack of studies (and the ethical implications of testing medications on breastfeeding dyads); ALWAYS check with your family doctor or pediatrician before starting any medication, herbal remedy, or vitamin.
